Lacey in the Raw
Holistic living for me is a life or death choice. After 12 years of struggling with major health issues and my weight, I was finally able to gain control of my body and heal from the inside out. At 17 I was diagnosed with an Autoimmune Disease, I’ve had two surgeries and countless hospitalizations. After the birth of my son I found myself at 245 pounds and sick everyday. When faced with a diagnosis of pre-cancerous polyps I knew I had to change. I used food and exercise to loose 90 pounds and cure ALL of my illnesses. Learn more about my journey at laceyintheraw.com
Why I want to be involved
I believe when we learn acceptance, forgiveness and positive perspective towards anything in our life including our relationship with food, it opens us up to a healthy vibration and we begin to enjoy the connection with that thing. As a friend to Vallie Gilley I know she has a deep understanding of love, and the importance of healthy vibrations. She has given herself in service to her community including caring for her ailing mother prior to her death last year and now it’s time for Vallie’s community to surround and support her as she realigns her goals for a healthy body and life. I love that Vallie is a fellow “foodie” and I am excited to see her take time for herself and redirect that love of service towards herself. I feel blessed to join her on her journey and offer my accumulated knowledge of raw food, the whole foods plant based diet and holistic health practices to serve as support on her journey to whole health including physical, spiritual and emotional wellbeing.
